Welcome to Introduction to Programming in Scratch! An introductory course to fundamental computer science concepts using the Scratch programming language. Scratch is a block-based visual programming language that allows young people to create software (digital stories, games, animations, and more…). It promotes computational thinking and problem solving skills; creative teaching and learning; self-expression and collaboration; and equity in computing. Students not only develop a clear understanding of what a career in computing entails but also develop critical thinking skills.
Certification: Students who successfully complete the course receive a verified course completion certificate.
